The argument I hear most often is the “how dare you blame poor people!” argument. Which would be kindof funny, if it weren’t so sad.

Obviously, blaming a Government policy designed “help” poor people, yet doing the exact opposite, is not an “attack on poor people”.

A grade-school strawman argument.

It’s also not questioning the intentions behind the policy, however utopian and naive.

It’s questioning, investigating, and ultimately judging the policy itself. Which is our patriotic duty to do.

Once you scape off all the expletives off your face, get done listening to pure venom about Rush Limbaugh, “It’s all Bush’s fault!”; “It’s because of Bush’s war in Iraq!”; “Greedy banker millionaires caused this and further proof free market capitalism doesn’t work!”…..you might as well be conversing with a donkey!

Aligning liberalism and the truth together is like pushing two positive poles of a magnet together.

Liberals do not possess the DNA to understand the consequences of their ideology is destroying America.

Next thing out of DC will be a bill telling people they can’t grow gardens!

Not only that… but it is worse than you imagine. The Mortgage backed securities are only part of the problem. The other part of the problem are hedge-funds, the so called “shadow stocks” that are essentially IOU’s between funds, brokerages houses etc: It’s what took the market down in 1929 taken to a much much grander scale than you can imagine. BRAVO! Fantastic explanation. I was so bothered by the bank bail out. Everyone acted like we were now “all better,” despite an utter lack of circumspection or even the question, “Could we be there again if we do not change course?” Now there are talks of a second stimulus before the ink has dried on that first monster.

Also, how righteously indignant these folks are when they march their corporate patsies before Congressional investigations!

And the final hypocritical blow is to blame this on CAPITALISM! There wasn’t a thing resembling capitalism in what you have described. Another case of saying it so, makes it so.
