Anyway, I saw that there’s a 2009 version of the Match software. Maybe it’s an update and you might be interested.

Hmm…I’m interested to get one and try it out, despite the software and documentation issues :p

Yup, that’s pretty much the long and short of it: good hardware, and good eventual calibration… but antiquated and confusing software / install, and near zero documentation.

If there’s a newer software version, I haven’t seen it. But the company got really irritated w/ this review, and lambasted me on the dpreview forums. Lol.

I hope, for their sake, they updated it

From what I understand, Display 2 did the job for you and gave you a good calibration of your monitor, but the process of figuring out the software was a nightmare.
Is it possible to let me know the version of the Match software? Wondering if the newer version is an improvement.
